NA Goes big as usual,
Schenley Hopes to "Back to Back"

On March 6th, Springdale will open the 13th years Gene Kelly show with "Godspell," a sixties rock-Gospel misical written by Pittsburgh native Stephen Schwartz. Though it is a fantastic show, the minimalist scenery and simple feel often cause it to be overlooked by the people of CLO, who usually favor big, flashy shows such as, oh, Les Miserables. Thats right. perennial powerhouse North Allegheny will try and do justice to the most difficult show available to high schools if an effort to win over the CLO judges who crowned NA's "How to Succeed..." best musical(high budget), and Trey Compton (Finch) best actor last year.

Schenley, who took home nine awards last year including best musical (middle budget) hope to repeat their success with "Lucky in the Rain." They'll face stiff competition in, among others, Steel Valley's "Grease" and newbie Central Catholic's "Footloose."
